How we handle your information
Last updated: 28 September 2026
Coachlight Publishing Limited, registered in Ireland (Company No. 826792), publishes Between Appointments™ and is the data controller responsible for the personal information described on this page.
What we collect
You can browse the public website without creating an account. We do not ask you for health information.
If you request a free resource, we collect your email address, the resource requested and the related consent record. As the form explains, requesting a resource also adds you to the Between Appointments™ email list. You can unsubscribe at any time.
If you buy or receive a product, we keep the email address and the purchase, delivery, access and consent records needed to provide and support it. Gift orders may also include a recipient name and private message supplied by the purchaser.
If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send. Please do not send medical or urgent health information.
Payments and private notes
Stripe processes card payments. Between Appointments™ does not store your card details. We receive the transaction references and payment status needed to fulfil the order.
Information entered in the Companion App or journal stays in the browser on your device. It is not sent to Between Appointments™. Clearing the browser’s site data may remove it. Optional encrypted backups are also created and restored on your device. We do not receive the backup or its password and cannot recover a forgotten password.
How your information is used
We use information to deliver products and resources, provide and recover access, send requested emails, support customers, protect the service and meet accounting or legal obligations.
Cloudflare hosts the website and customer service. Stripe processes payments. Resend sends transactional emails. Kit manages free-resource and marketing emails. Google Fonts supplies the website’s typefaces. These providers may process information outside Ireland or the European Economic Area under their own transfer safeguards.
We do not sell personal information, share it with advertisers or use advertising trackers. The public website does not currently use analytics. Essential cookies and browser storage are used only where needed for secure access, checkout protection and the Companion App.
Retention and your rights
Purchase, access, transaction and consent records are kept for as long as needed to provide permanent access, meet legal or accounting obligations and protect the service. Information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.
Depending on the law that applies, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, or object to certain uses. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time.
Contact support@readbetweenappointments.com with a privacy request. You may also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission or your local supervisory authority.
We will update this page if the service or its information practices change.
Your trust matters more to us than your data ever will.
