Between Appointments Waitlist

How we handle your information

Written in plain English, because that's how we do everything.

Last updated: June 2026

Between Appointments™ exists for people going through one of the hardest periods of their lives. The last thing you need is a privacy policy you can't understand. So here it is, plainly.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect one thing: your email address.

That's it. We don't ask for your name, your diagnosis, your location, or anything else. If you ever choose to reply to one of our emails and tell us more, that stays between us and is never shared or sold.

Why we collect it

One reason: so we can write to you. We'll send a short welcome note when you join, the occasional letter as we build, and word when the first resources are ready. We write rarely, and only when there's something worth saying.

We will never sell your email address. We will never rent it, trade it, or share it with advertisers. Not at launch, not ever.

Email subscriptions

Our emails are sent through Kit (kit.com), a service that handles email lists. When you join, your email address is stored securely with Kit on our behalf. Kit processes this data under its own privacy commitments and in line with European data protection law.

Every email we send comes from Daniel Kerr | Between Appointments™, and every one of them includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom.

Unsubscribing

Leave whenever you like. Click unsubscribe in any email and you're out, immediately and without hard feelings. You can also email us and we'll remove you by hand.

Analytics

We use simple, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how many people visit this site and which pages they read. These numbers are anonymous. We don't track you across the internet, we don't build profiles, and we don't use advertising trackers.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies. If a small number of essential cookies are needed to make the site or signup form work, that's all they do. There's no cookie banner theatre here because there's nothing behind the curtain.

Your rights

Under GDPR and similar laws in the UK and elsewhere, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these, just email us. No forms, no waiting periods, no friction. If you're in the EU and feel we haven't handled your data properly, you also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission, our supervisory authority.

Where we're based

Between Appointments™ is based in Ireland and operates under European data protection law (GDPR), which is among the strictest in the world. Wherever you're reading this from, that's the standard we hold ourselves to.

For the purposes of data protection law, Between Appointments™ is the controller of the information described on this page.

Contact

Questions about any of this? Email support@readbetweenappointments.com. Every message is read by Daniel personally, with care. Because Between Appointments™ is a small founder-led project, a personal reply isn't always possible, but nothing you send goes unread. Requests to access, correct, or delete your information are always handled.

One thing worth saying plainly: Between Appointments™ is not a medical service. We can't give medical advice, crisis support, or emergency assistance. For anything medical or urgent, please contact your healthcare team or local emergency services.

If this policy changes

We'll update this page whenever our practices change in a meaningful way. If a change materially affects how your information is handled, we'll let you know by email. We won't bury anything in fine print.

You came here during a hard chapter of your life. Your trust matters more to us than your data ever will.
